With FC Metz, iXpole promotes to French Ligue 1
After a very short stopover in League 2, FC Metz is returning to League 1 for the 2019-2020 season. At the same time, the club is renovating a large part of its Saint-Symphorien Stadium, including its hospitality areas. To offer its partners the best possible service, FC Metz has decided to deploy the iXpole solution.
After projects in Nancy and Castres, iXpole continues its deployment in French sports clubs, as the Belgian based software developer adds FC Metz to its customer base.
On the momentum of its return to Ligue 1, the club is setting a steady course of innovation at all levels. Together with the creation of a brand-new training facility, the club plans important renovations for the Stade Saint-Symphorien (expansion to 30,000 seats, including 2,000 to 4,000 VIP seats).
In parallel, FC Metz has just signed a contract with iXpole to deploy the solution proposed by the Belgian software provider to its VIP customers, starting in the 2019-2020 season.
iXpole is a cloud-based solution for end-to-end automation of all VIP and sponsorship services, from ticketing/access control, over contract management, stock management, invoice management to messaging. iXpole also offers a self-service portal where VIP customers can directly manage their tickets, invitations and even personalize their evening at the Stade Saint-Symphorien by ordering additional personalised services. In addition to improving the on-site experience on the day of the match, FC Metz aims to offer its partners the best possible service before, during and after the event.
Philippe Tréard, Deputy General Manager of FC Metz said: “Taking the VIP experience to the next level is one of FC Metz’s priorities. We met iXpole and discovered that their solution was very innovative and very different from existing ticketing or CRM systems. We want to be the benchmark for VIP experiences in the region and offer our customers a way of experiencing the game that is unique and perfectly matches their personal expectations.”
He adds: “Today clubs are increasingly competing with various events or entertainment offers. If they want to continue being the leading business networking place in the area they must move away from their traditional VIP approach by adapting each experience to the needs of each customer. The renovation of the stadium, the technological innovations as well as the creation of new VIP formulas and new marketing methods will allow us to further strengthen these lasting links with our partners”.
